Zoey, how fortunate I am to have met you.

You are not only easy on the eyes, but you support me in so many ways, every single day of the week. You listen to my madness and never judge. You anticipate my every move. And best yet, you make me look good.

While Zoey could be my best friend, she is also my favorite handbag for fall. My Zoey in stone is a can't-live-without bag. My whole life fits in it and then some. The cleverest of them all — the front pouch, or Roo ... as in kangaroo pouch. The perfect size to fit all of my essentials — phone, keys and favorite lipstick.

Zoey's a special bag. So special, she appeared in a few of my photo shoots.

Spring is far from here. But you can bet I've already picked out my spring handbag! 

No, I don't buy a handbag for each season. In fact, I may not even buy a new handbag each year. It's a random thing for me.

I didn't fall in love with any handbags for FW10, though I came close with this Dior bag. However, it's all over for spring.

I have always loved Chloe handbags. The construction is impeccable. And this spring, with minimalism on the rise, these two styles fit the bill perfectly. I want them both — the duffel for everyday life and the wristlet for quick errand running or evenings out.

Runway isn't always an illusion. There are pieces, from time to time, that you can get your hands on. Such as the Dior Libertine. Yummy draped leather in petal with aged 'C.D.' letters that were borrowed from a belt created by Christian Dior in 1950. Timeless perfection!

It's official. Summer has arrived, although the heat gave it away weeks ago. With the first day of summer comes vacation! Hopefully it's not a vacation held only in your dreams. I, too, prefer the real deal.
