I am not the matchy matchy type. Never have been. However, I am crushing on Miu Miu's sparrow print this season. The shoes, so retro. The wallet, so fun! 

Technically, your wallet will be in your handbag, so no one will even know you are being matchy matchy. What a lovely surprise to whip out this satin print billfold while shopping. Really, it just makes me smile.

The shoes are just cool. What a fun little vibe you'll stir up while wearing these with some white straight leg clam diggers and a geranium-red frilly top! Yum!

About a month ago, I received a pair of the popular FitFlop footwear, in the Classic Walkstar style. I was excited to try them out. After all, who isn't seduced by the legs seen walking in these!

Said to increase leg, calf and gluteal muscle activity, improve posture, mimic the gait of barefoot walking (but with more muscle load), and improve muscle tone, there was nothing to lose. Well, except a little fashion sense, being that I'm a personal stylist helping clients understand how to best express their style.

Don't get me wrong, I am thrilled that the latest versions are not only narrower in width, but also donned in sequins. That makes me happy. But a 'sexy on the foot' flip-flop it is not.

FitFlop footwear is biomechanically engineered to help tone and tighten leg muscles while walking. So, what to wear with them? Keep them to workout attire and you're fine. Or, if you plan to be on your feet for an extended period of time, say, like, walking the streets of NYC, then this sandal would be a wise choice paired with jeans, shorts or a cute mini dress!

Jellies may be back, however, do we really want them to be? I, for sure, do not. Eighth grade was the first and last time my feet slipped into jelly shoes. While the styles from designers such as Tory Burch, Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs, Diane von Furstenberg, Stuart Weitzman, etc. have improved, I can't find a reason to wear them, other than to a swim meet. For children, they are cute. For adults, plain silly.
