Jeffrey Campbell Rockaway Wedge Boot

I am always looking for a shoe that bridges the gap between the transitional seasons — summer and fall, and winter and spring. Last year, it was the KORS Michael Kors Harbor slingback wooden wedge in Cork. I absolutely love this shoe!

When I stumbled upon the Rockaway wedge boot by Jeffrey Campbell, it reminded me of the endless options my Harbor wedge has provided.

Jeffrey Campbell is known for designing spunky shoes. And while I own a couple of pairs myself, I have to admit, most of the styles I see appear to be most appropriate for costume parties. That's what made this shoe worthy of a second glance.

FW11 Craving: Navy Velvet Booties

Call me obsessed. Here I am contemplating another pair of velvet shoes. One of my favorite shoe designers, Giuseppe Zanotti, has done it again with his 2011 version of the bootie. This time, navy velvet. With an almond shaped toe bed to boot! Seriously stunning, don't you think? They will look phenomenal next to my pretty kitties (which, by the way, the picture does not do them justice).

I've been a major fan of Charlotte Olympia shoes since its inception in 2007. Dellal's platforms are recognized all over the world. Her shoes are modern, playful and drool-worthy. And yes, there's the collectibles factor.

With the addition of clutches, tights and berets, you are bound to find a masterpiece of your own.

As for these pretty kitties, I cannot tell you how badly I want to add these to my shoe wardrobe. And for those who have an affinity for the piano, there's a pair for you, too!
