Beauty

britenzOver the last couple of weeks, I've been testing a fun, new product that whitens teeth on the go. Thank goodness for the 'on the go' factor, as I don't stand still for more than a minute.

Britenz is an all natural brush-on teeth whitener that is easy to use and fits right into your purse. It's safe and effective. I can attest that it absolutely brightens your smile for the short term, in addition to the long term with continual use.

Britenz, containing 100% natural xylitol, organic Aloe Vera, CoQ10 and natural peppermint extract, was developed to whiten your smile in just a few hours. Formulated by dentists, Britenz protects and helps with oral care while delivering fast results. The ingredients are safe, so you don't have to worry about trying not to swallow. And you can see the product working right away, as it fizzes.

It's no surprise that a bright smile brings confidence. Smiling releases endorphins and adjusts your body chemistry. It's proven to lower blood pressure. So why wouldn't you want a phenomenal smile that delivers all of that?

I say, spring is the perfect time to whiten

Who wants to give Britenz a whirl with me? Britenz would love to give away a few whitening pens to those looking for whiter teeth and fresher breath in an easy application. Simply leave a comment below and you'll be entered to win Britenz Brush-On Teeth Whitener. Enter now!

Here comes another must have for spring.

Chantecaille is known for creating the most spectacularly beautiful palettes. And this one is no exception.

Inspired by the freshness of the ocean, this limited edition palette combines the bold and the feminine. Showcasing three fabulous eye shades — Great White (all over white sandy beige), Grey Reef (glistening sandy grey) and Black Tip (deep ocean blue) — and one golden coral cheek shade, this will fast become your 'go to' look. Best yet, 5% of the proceeds from the Save the Sharks Palette will be donated to the BLOOM Association to ban unregulated shark fin trade.

Spring brings some easy, and some not-so-easy, hair creations. On the simpler side: low ponies, messy buns, triangle part and accessory-ridden. As for those looks that appear easy breezy but so aren't: the ultimate blow out, slicked back, mega braided and over-the-top attitudinal hair.

Whether you choose bold or low maintenance, great hair is all you this season.

duftstarsawardSome people come into your life and you just know, that no matter what part of the world you reside, you will always stay connected. That's Ulrich Lang.

From New York to Germany, Ulrich Lang, fragrance designer extraordinaire, is forever up to something good. Recently, I got my hands on a bottle of his latest release, Lightscape. And let me tell you, this is a scent to turn your nose up at — in full attention! Nominated for the Duftstars, Lightscape explores the interplay between the bold freshness of galbanum and Sicilian lemon against the delicate refinement of violet leaves.

lightscapebyuliThis amazing fragrance can be worn by both men and women. In fact, my hubby and I have been fighting over it lately. It's citrusy, yet warm and settles beautifully. Top notes include: galbanum, lemon and violet leaves. Middle notes include: iris, rose, violet flower, cyclamen and cedarwood. And the base notes of musk, woods and creamy tonka bean add another layer of comforting warmth that is both subtle and sensuous.

Staying true to their roots in the art world, Lightscape's packaging is photographed by Amsterdam-based Elspeth Diederix, a visual artist who uses photography to register her sculptural ideas. Clean, dreamy, gorgeous.

The greatest aspect of this particular scent is its versatility. It's timeless and seasonless, and can be worn day into night.

Trust me, you'll want this on your man at all times. Well let's be honest, on you, too!

While snow is predicted this evening (and I seriously want it to happen), my forecasts for spring 2013 unveil, bit by bit. Starting with lips!

Bold lips will continue to take center stage this upcoming season. Which means, there will be plenty of room for experimentation. Fashion designers Giles and Holly Fulton showed matte fuchsia lips on the runway. Fulton even added orange for a punchy pout.

While spring doesn't typically conjure up visions of oxblood, designers Prabal Gurung and Jason Wu were digging the deep, mysterious lip for the season.

As for gloss — move over! It's all about the matte mouth.
