Earth Day 2009 is just around the corner ... Wednesday, April 22. This day will mark the beginning of The Green Generation Campaign™ which will also be the focus of the 40th Anniversary of Earth Day in 2010.

The Earth Day Network is proud to partner with National Environmental Education Week. Every year, EE Week promotes the understanding and protection of the natural world by actively engaging K-12th grade students and educators in an inspired week of environmental learning and service before Earth Day. This year's EE Week theme is 'Be Water Wise,' which means, we shouldn't use more water than we need. This is a perfect day to show our loving husbands that they don't need to run the water while shaving (shallow water in the sink, instead).
