I have been dying to get my hands on a new spring nail color for weeks now, to help usher in the new season. And while I thought I'd go for one of the bright sheers from the OPI Texas collection and Essie's Coat Azure, I left ULTA with an unexpected duo.Essie's Sand Tropez is a gorgeous sandy color from the spring collection. It's my chameleon shade, perfect for those days when I'm all decked out in brights for spring (like today, since it's 73 degrees). My nails are not in the best shape, so this neutral hides all imperfections while making my nails look ... well ... polished.
No stranger to the game, OPI's 20 Candles on my Cake has been around for quite some time. In fact, I think OPI wants it gone since it's currently on sale. I was looking for a new red, yet walked away with this beautiful berry color. It's subdued enough to wear year round. Over the last year and a half, I've been obsessed with navy, plum, charcoal and greige. Finally, I open my arms to reds again. Full on embrace!
