This past weekend, I covered
fashion week, compliments of
Catherine. Just as I had imagined, it was truly magical! While I didn’t have any celebrity encounters myself, the experience left me with such gratitude. During my stay in NYC, I had the opportunity to attend many shows including
Haute Hippie,
Lela Rose and
Rachel Antonoff (my favorite), to name just a few. The shows I attended were magnificent from the hospitality to the souvenirs to the showcase of each designer's fall/winter 2010 collections. However, the absolute best presentation was Rachel Antonoff’s.
Rachel's showcase was unlike anything I've ever seen before. “The Mystery at Lafayette House” was set in a mansion located in East Village Manhattan. Attendees entered a crime scene and had to identify the murderer by watching the witnesses. Who would have guessed such suspense combined with the '50s and '60s fashion would be such a hit? The inspiration and the plot won my heart! I’m still unsure of the culprit. Maybe you can tell me?
