July was hot. And not just in temperature! Check out what we discovered while reviewing a few fun finds last month.

gradeB3Daileys: White Grapefruit, Ginger Lime, Lavender and Lemongrass Natural Deodorants
I have been hearing a lot about aluminum-free natural deodorants lately, so I decided to give it a whirl. I did my research and landed on Daileys, which is located nearby in GA. The ingredients used in their deodorants — including pure essential oils, bicarbonate of soda and corn starch — neutralize and eliminate odor causing bacteria and help to absorb moisture. And the scents are amazing! So, does it work? Really great, actually. The deodorant goes on a bit tacky and takes a while to dry. However, when you sweat, you smell delicious! Honestly, this product deserves a higher grade, but the delivery drove the grade down. What should take a day or two in shipping takes over 3 weeks. Over 3 weeks! My boots from Italy arrived in 3 days. Come on, that's ridiculous. So, while the 4-pack is worth the wait, don't be in a rush when ordering.

gradeB1tsjulyTwisted Silver: Lake necklace, Cosmos earrings
Two super stylish items that make accessorizing fun! The Lake necklace is a simple statement maker — lariat style, on an antiqued brass and suede chain with a beautiful piece of tumbled glass. It can be worn several ways, too. Inspired by the planets and moon, the Cosmos earrings feature Baroque brass and vintage pearls in a unique shape that captures the attention of others. They go with just about any outfit, too.

gradeAWen: Six Thirteen Cleansing Treatment
Love. Love. And love some more! My new favorite, all-in-one, hair product. I heard about Wen years ago, but was never moved to try it. Then my sister introduced it to me last year. I kind of liked it then, but wasn't convinced. This summer, I started using the Lavender Cleansing Treatment and really enjoyed it. Then, I found Six Thirteen. First off, the scent — an intoxicating blend of Lemon, Rosemary and Vanilla Bean. It strengthens, yet softens hair, leaving it healthy and shiny with no chemicals. No need to add styling products. You'll get a great blowout every time. But the best part of all, this soy-based hair care product contains anti-aging products, such as amino acid, green tea leaf extract, goji berries, marine collagen, acai, and quinoa (protein). I'm totally hooked.

gradeAnbebNatura Bissé: Eye Recovery Balm*
Another fabulous NB product! The Eye Recovery Balm is a gel-like eye treatment that is super hydrating all day long. Its restorative nature keeps your eyes looking alive, while helping to diminish signs of aging. It layers beautifully under concealer, too.

gradeB3Fake Bake: Bronze on the Glow
Self tanning season is just about over. So, I love the idea of a bronzer with no long-term commitment. Something easy to apply, and easy to wash off. This foundation for legs lives up to the easy on application. However, the color is on the rusty side with very little bronze shimmer. If you wear light color clothing, it will rub off on your clothes (though it does come out in the wash). All in all, I think the concept is good. But the color formulation needs some work.

The team of testers were not paid to review these products. However, most of the products listed above were supplied as samples for review purposes.
