Kerastase Paris: CIMENT ANTI-USURE
Kerastase Paris makes excellent products, so it was no surprise that this conditioning treatment met the same high standards. It was lightweight, yet extremely hydrating. It strengthens and protects damaged hair. It left my hair soft and smooth. B+
SKINN: Platinum Mascara
This mascara is rich in color and lengthens lashes nicely. I didn't notice any volume, but I did notice that it didn't clump or flake (which always makes me happy). This gets a B!
Dianne Brill: Lip Lingerie liner in Opera Length
I am not sure that I have ever come across a color quite like this one in a lip pencil. It's pinkish merlot in color with this wonderful shimmer. And truly, it's amazing. In fact, you won't want to put anything over it other than a clear gloss. An A!
Tallulah: Glossary in My Yacht or Yours
And speaking of lip gloss, this is my new fav. I love the fact that it's not sticky or goopy at all. It's chock full of minerals for staying power. And the color is better than your basic clear because it provides a splash of shimmering color. A.
ProfoundBeauty: Curl Serum
Wow - this is definitely the best hair serum I have used in quite some time. It truly does enhance curls while keeping them soft, moisturized and shiny. I was amazed that it rid of frizzies completely. My hair looked fabulous for days. Another A.
GAP: Super Bell Black Jeans
Black denim is in, and so are bell bottoms. So I can embrace both at the same time with these jeans. They are super stretch material, so be prepared for them to be a bit snug, and they only give a tad. They are so affordable. Great buy. These get a B!
Lisa Hoffman: Vitamin A and C Serum
This is a great serum. It's silky smooth, hydrating and penetrates the skin nicely. And gives you a glow from within appearance! Vitamins A and C are great anti-oxidants, so naturally this product is a good protector against environmental damage and is effective in slowing down skin aging. B+.
Cosmoholic: Liquid Lipstick in Prudish Pink
The idea here is to combine the color of a lipstick and deliver it in a lip gloss formulation. I have to say, Cosmoholic does a great job at accomplishing just that. The color is saturated and pretty. The packaging makes it easy to throw in your purse, jeans or jacket for quick touch ups. And it's shiny and non-sticky. This gets a B+!
Eau Thermale Avene: Cold Cream Lip Balm
The entire Eau Thermale Avene line is incredible, including their Cold Cream collection. And the lip balm rocks! It soothes and hydrates lips completely and lasts a really long time. I use this daily and wouldn't think of leaving the house without it. An A!
Renee Rouleau: Daytime Blemish Gel
While this antiseptic is for daytime use, I used it at night, as well. It contains Salicylic Acid (but not as much as I would have hoped) and green tea. You can definitely smell the alcohol (which is at the top of the ingredient list), but the formula works. It is touted to form an invisible seal during the day to keep make-up out. It does a nice job of clearing things up! B.
