snowoutfitSnow! It's hitting so many areas of the country (except mine, of course). For those of you building snowmen, making snow angels and eventually coming in from the cold with red cheeks seeking hot cocoa, this stylish number is for you.

The perfect outfit for cold temperatures — and the fluffy white stuff — requires major warmth. Start with quality undergarments. Under Armor's ColdGear frosty tights are a great first layer, as are their ColdGear tops. Jeans are fine if you don't mind them getting a little wet. Look for a long puffer coat with 700 fill premium goose down and a two-way center front zip. Ear muffs will definitely keep those susceptible ears toasty. Mittens with finger dividers are best at keeping heat in (and for snowball making) and it's a great idea to wear a hat — go for color. As for footwear, Sorel boots are made for snow. You can't go wrong (this coming from a my-feet-are-always-cold person). There's a more stylish Sorel variation, as well, but these are so much fun!

snowoutfit2As for those of us who wish we had snow and want to play along as if we did, here's a high style option. Nothing stands out more against an incredibly luxe shearling coat (thank you, Alexander McQueen) like white or ivory jeans. A sequins beret, cobalt blue suede lambskin gloves and distressed mahogony oiled-suede boots with leather wrapped straps add serious yum factor. Delicious! Bring sparkle to your ears with colorful gemstone stud earrings. The best part about this outfit, is that you don't have to have snow to be a glam snow bunny (though, it's perfect for Après-Ski). You can wear this ensemble for many scenarios. Enjoy!
