Baking is much more fun when wearing a pretty little apron, don't you think?
After a full day of client shopping and deliveries, it was time to get baking for the Girls on the Run bake sale. My daughter volunteered my lemon glazed cookies. Thank goodness she didn't offer up the dress design (I'd have been up all night). While my kids love decorating my lemon glazed dresses, a lot of time is involved — in which we did not have. The good news is, these cookies taste amazing, no matter how they look!
When I picked up an apron from Anthropologie a couple of years ago, I had no idea just how often I'd wear it. Aside from the fact that it's super fun, it's functional. I often think about styling an outfit around it — I love it that much.
So, here's to cooking pretty!
